Oh, dear, someone has forgotten that litle Funes hasn't had a shave. Charles

Si, Charles, tienes razón. Funes está afeitado. Que sea parte de lo extraño y bizarro que ocurre en esta historia.
Saludos y gracias por el detalle.

OK, so this means you can also forget that the editor is straight. Because your readers don't think so! Charles

No need to forget anything, I believe: he went to the bathroom for a glass of water and, he drinks, looks at the mirror and decides to shave before going back to bed, that's all. As for the editor, any reader is free to read his own story, I guess...

Ah, but then this means Little Funes shaved before he visited Horacio in episode 78 and then had two days growth before they went to bed. Extrano y bizarro, indeed!

Charles: I'm sorry but the only weird thing I see here is your looking with a magnifying glass to find small (non-existent, actually) inconsistencies. Weird and annoying to say the least, as the author can't answer to your absurd remarks in English. To me it's a waste of time (I must translate, remember?) so from now on I'll ignore your bizarre claims. Need to be the center to enjoy the story? Your problem. Did I sound harsh? Well, my nickname is...

Rabid

I agree. Even the most celebrated comic artists will have the odd inconsistency. Gene Ha, Luna Brothers, Brian Bolland etc all have the odd mistake. Even me lol! It happens in film as well. Does it really matter? No. This is an excellent strip and the author is doing a brilliant job. Rabid, do you do english to spanish translation?

Anónimo dijo...

that's exactly my point, bearchaserglas. Paying too much attention to inconsistency in stories is kind of narrow-minded in general, even more in this particular case because there is none! - that I can see at least.
About your question, it can be done if the subject is interesting

Rabid - I am not sure how to contact you. I produce an online comic, but I do not speak spanish and it would be good to have it translated. I am on Biggercity under the same nickname if you use that. There are examples of my artwork and the cover of the first issue there.

Lighten up, you two. It's meant to be fun. The artist definitely took my remarks the way they were intended. I can just about read his Spanish the same as he can read my English. I'd have thought he'd liked the fact people are paying attention.
